I am a general psychiatrist and Fellow in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and I hold a Master of Arts degree in counselling psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. My current area of practice includes the BCCH ADHD outpatient clinic, the BCCH Provincial eating disorder program, and a private practice working with elite athletes and performers. I am also the director of continuing professional development for BCCH child and adolescent psychiatry and hold an appointment as a Clinical Instructor in the UBC Department of Medicine.

I have worked with diverse populations over my time in counselling and medicine, and draw on my diverse background of experiences in theatre, international athletic competition from my time on the Canadian National Field Hockey Team, and, most significantly, my experiences as a daughter, sister, mother and wife to connect with my patients. Special interests include the dynamics and neurobiology of the therapeutic relationship and its connection to patient and physician wellness.
