Although I have an enduring passion for all things athletic, I was inspired to pursue a career as a Mental Performance Consultant after my long-time training and involvement in the performing arts.

I completed my Master of Human Kinetics degree in Intervention and Consultation at the University of Ottawa and I now work in a variety of performance-based settings including sport, dance, music, and education. I focus on helping performers of all kinds to practice and perform optimally, with grit and resilience.

My work is centered on helping clients to use their minds and bodies in complementary ways by uncovering, developing, and harnessing their mental and emotional resources. I have worked with clients from a range of competitive, vocational, and recreational contexts. I have also implemented my work at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, researching and advising on emotional wellness in clinical health and education contexts.

Presently, I am a PhD candidate at the University of Ottawa studying the impact of mobile communication technology on athletes' performance and mental health. I completed my Mental Health First Aid certification through the Mental Health Commission of Canada. In my spare time, I enjoy playing co-ed soccer with my partner.
